i. Jomsom Trek:

The Jomson trek provides a fnatstic introduction to Himalayan tea house trekking and is an easy to moderate grade trek. To start the trek you can take a bus or taxi from Pokhara to Beni and hike from there to Tatopani. Then you can trek up from Tatopani to Lete or Kalopani, leaving these for Kagbeni and proceed to Muktinah, then Jarkhot to Kagbeni and your final halt – Jomson. From here you can book a flight or trek back to Beni to board a bus back to Pokhara.Those returning from Jomson, located at a height of 2720m are sure to remember beautiful visuals of their walk along the Kaligandarki river with a lovely secluded picnic halt at Tukuche situated at 2950m, besides numerous other natural attractions such as the hot springs at Tatopani and the spectacular sunrise over Poon Hill.
On return you can expect a comfortable, clean and welcoming bed, piping hot meal with fresh ingredients and perhaps even a local lager are served by a smiling host at the Pokhara Palace Hotel.

ii. Annapurna Sanctuary Trek:
Locally referred to as ‘The Entrance To The Throne Room Of The Gods,’ the Annapurna Sanctuary trek provides one of the most unforgettable journeys by foot to one of the the most beautiful natural and peaceful places on the Earth. On this route, trekkers are rewarded with the sight of a huge mountainous amphitheater comprising rocks, ice and celestial peaks that seem to rise into an azure blue sky. On the route you will pass through a huge diversity of terrain – there are rustic lowlands in the villages and long stretches of rice terraces moving on to awe-inspiring glaciers (Glacier Dome) and craggy peaks of mountains like Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Fang, & the Annapurnas – a view that will stay long in your mind.
The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek starts from Pokhara, leads you through the villages of Gurung & Thakali on a beautiful trekking route that has abundant natural rhododendron forests offering a visual delight for the senses along with thrilling views of the majestic mountain ranges as you traverse from Poon Hill and find your way up to the Base Camp. Thereafter will start your descent to the land of Ghandruk & Chomrung and soon you will be on your way back to Pokhara.

iii. Annapurna Circuit Trek:
If you choose the Annapurna Circuit Trek you can look forward to an amazing trek right around the Annapurna massif. You can expect to pass through very deep valleys and the Trans Himalayan Plateau, culminating in the crossing of the Thorung La pass (located at a height of 5,416m). This is trek is only recommended for those with a reasonable fitness level since there is a lot of distance to cover and a high altitude pass crossing.
This trek commences from Besi Sahar and travelers will be rewarded rewarded for their efforts by spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Annapurna
If you feel these long treks in Nepal are not for you, you can also consider the shorter (1-3 days) options with slower paced treks to village and hill settlements around Pokhara.
Some of these easy trekking routes include:

Sarangkot − this is just a one-day trip and allows you to enjoy an unsurpassed view of the Dhaulagiri mountain range lying north of the Fewa Lake at an altitude of 1592m

Naudanda Trek − this trek takes 2 days to complete and commences from Naudanda leading through Suikhet, moving on to Kaski and requiring a return route to the western part of Pokhara

Ghachowk Trek − this trek also takes only 2 days to complete with its circuit covering small and quaint hill settlements of Lhachowk then Ghachowk and coming back down to a place called Batulechaur, to the north of Pokhara; it affords a beautiful, close up view of the famous Fishtail mountain.

Panchase Trek − this is a 3-day trek commencing from Ghatichhina (located at a height of 1050m) and rises in a steep ascent towards a rustic and peaceful settlement called Panchase Bhanjyang (situated at 2517m) and affording an unparalleled mountain views from the village. It takes approx. 6 hours to get here. An overnight stop is advised. The second day of this trek typically involves a round trip to Panchase Danda, and then trekkers are homeward bound for Panchase Bhanjyang. The last day of the trek finds travelers winding their way through the scenic Gurung-villages before heading back to Pokhara.
